Split Order For Multi Location
Split Order For Multi Location Plugin, splits an order automatically into separate order ID’s as per the items in the cart based on the selected locations of the product.
When a user places an order that includes three products from three distinct locations, the split order plugin creates an individual order id for each location, as well as a main order that displays all of the products.
Installation Instruction
- Go to “Plugins” . Click on “Add Plugin”.
- Select the zip folder for the Split Order For Multi Location plugin .
- Install and Activate
Let’s look at an example to see how it works.
Go to your website’s front end. Add any three products to your shopping cart. Each product should be from a different location.
We inserted three products in a cart from three distinct locations, as you can see in the image below.
After placing the order, the order’s section in the backend of WordPress looks like this.
It generated different order ids dependent on the location, as well as a single primary order that contained all of the products.
As you can see in the images above.
- The main order or parent order is represented by the green color icon.
- Split order is represented by the orange color symbol.
- Note : From Screen Options Make sure that “Actions” option is enabled to see green and orange symbols for parent and split order.
Let’s look at another instance in which a user has put three products.
Two from the same location, one from a different location
As illustrated in the figure below
In the wordpress backend order section it shows like this.
The image below is for the Parent order, which shows all of the products from various locations.
The image below shows a split order, which only shows products from a single location.
